Automatic Power On
Automatic Power Restoration
Automatic Power Restoration is a setting that can be enabled in the BIOS to, when the power state of the machine is changed, allow the machine to power itself back on.
The BIOS options that are needed for Automatic Power Restoration can be labeled as the following:
“Restore on AC/Power Loss”;
“AC Power Recovery”; or
"After Power Loss".
Wake-On-Lan is a BIOS option that allows the machine to wait for a "Magic Packet" to be sent over a Lan connection to wake a computer or turn itself on.
For the Wake-On-Lan option, it can be as follows:
“WoL (Wake-on-Lan) in S4”; or
“Power On By PCIE/PCI”.
